Overview

A light jet worth putting your name on

This 2001 Citation CJ1 is the aircraft we're bringing to South Florida for dry lease — a fast, efficient, single-pilot-certified light jet with a bright six-seat cabin and a modern Collins Pro Line 21 panel.

We're fitting it with Tamarack Active Winglets, the FAA- and EASA-certified, load-alleviating wingtips that make the same jet fly meaningfully farther — up to 1,400 nm nonstop — climb straight to FL410 in 32 minutes or less, and burn up to 33% less fuel, with a ride up to 25% smoother (all manufacturer-cited). Its Williams FJ44 engines are enrolled on the TAP Advantage Blue hourly maintenance program, and CAA contract-fuel enrollment for negotiated Jet-A pricing is in process.

As a dry lease, the airplane is the whole offer: you bring your own qualified crew, carry the insurance, and hold operational control of every flight under Part 91. Here's exactly how that works.

Highlights

  • Tamarack Active Winglets being fitted — up to 1,400 nm nonstop, up to 33% better fuel efficiency, up to 25% smoother ride (manufacturer-cited)
  • Collins Pro Line 21 three-tube EFIS panel
  • Single-pilot certified — one qualified pilot where insurance allows
  • Williams FJ44s on the TAP Advantage Blue hourly program
  • Six seats: forward side-facing + four-seat club + belted lav
  • External ski-tube baggage extension · satellite phone · EROS crew O₂
  • CAA contract-fuel enrollment (in process) — negotiated Jet-A at participating FBOs
  • Optional Signature Package cabin personalization

Getting better before she flies

Arriving September — improving into the fall

The airplane you lease won't be the airplane in the seller photos — it'll be better. Between now and her first lease, we're putting real money into the aircraft: a comprehensive interior refresh (new soft goods and finishes throughout) and Tamarack Active Winglets for up to 1,400 nm nonstop, stronger climb, up to 33% better fuel efficiency, and an up to 25% smoother ride (manufacturer-cited; we'll publish confirmed figures once they're installed and measured). That's the difference between leasing from a family that owns the airplane and renting from a fleet: we invest in her because we keep her.

Join the lease list and you'll hear the moment she's ready — and see the new interior before anyone else.

For type-rated pilots

Fly it yourself — insurance permitting

The CJ1 is single-pilot certified (CE-525 type rating), and our dry lease is one of the few ways to fly a jet as PIC without buying one. Insurers typically want to see time in type, current recurrent training, and sometimes a mentor-pilot period before solo PIC — your policy governs, and we'll share the current minimums when you call. If you're newly rated and building 525 time, this is exactly the kind of access that's nearly impossible to find.

Tell us your ratings and hours and we'll give you a straight answer on whether the insurance will take you: register interest or call (561) 529-4830 — an owner picks up.

How it works

Leasing this aircraft

A dry lease means we provide the airplane — and only the airplane. You supply your own qualified flight crew, arrange insurance, and hold operational control of every flight under 14 CFR Part 91. Rates cover the aircraft itself; fuel and crew are your direct costs (typically about $1,000–1,500/day for a pilot, paid by you).

Not sure what a trip would run? The cost estimator models this exact aircraft against chartering the same class of jet.

We never provide, select, schedule, or pay your crew — that's what keeps your operation a true dry lease rather than a charter. We can point you to insurance-approved pilots you hire directly.

Get in line early

She's expected at FXE in September, and block-rate slots will be limited. Join the lease list and we'll reach out the moment the aircraft is available — no obligation, and we'll only email you when she's here or a slot opens.
